Continental Divide from Sugarloaf

$125.00

5 x 5” acrylic on 1.5” gallery-wrapped canvas. UV reactive.

Sugarloaf Mountain (8,917 ft), located between Boulder and nearby Nederland, is a great spot to admire a 360-degree view of Boulder, the foothills, and the distant peaks of the Continental Divide. The day I took the photo for this painting was the first day of snow in early October 2023. Light snow flurries and the swirl of white clouds above the Divide were a reminder that summer was long gone, despite 80+ degree temperatures in Boulder.

I donate a portion of all proceeds to the National Park Foundation.
