This is one of my first ever plein air (outdoor) works, painted on location at Mills Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park in the summer of 2022. The lake is named for Enos Mills, one of the Park’s biggest early advocates. The trail to the lake is a popular hike accessed from Glacier Gorge.

I donate a portion of all proceeds to the National Park Foundation.
