Delicate Arch

$2,500.00

20 x 20” acrylic on wood panel with natural wood floater frame. UV reactive.

Delicate Arch is a 52-foot-tall freestanding natural arch located in Arches National Park, near Moab, Utah. I visited the Park on a birthday camping trip and was mesmerized by the stunning sandstone rock formations, gradually worn away by weathering and erosion over the course of thousands of years. The otherworldly landscape of the Utah desert has been a ceremonial area for indigenous peoples including the Hopi, Ute, Paiute, Navajo, Pueblo, and others for centuries. Moab is the only major crossing of the Colorado River for hundreds of miles, so this area saw extensive travel and trade for tribes of the region.

This original piece will ship within 3-4 weeks. Contact me at kristenrossart@gmail.com for local pickup.

I donate a portion of all proceeds to the National Park Foundation.
