Paradise Meadow

$500.00

8×10” oil on hardbord

Paradise Meadow is a popular spot to pull off and admire the view along Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park. Arriving at sunrise, I loved how the peaks of Mount Oberlin and Mount Cannon caught the morning sun and sat down to paint. Going to the Sun Road is visible on the right side of the painting, showing how steep the valley walls can get. Driving on this road was nerve-wracking but I’ve done worse (I’m looking at you, Mount Blue Sky).
