Lake Solitude Trail
Lake Solitude Trail
5×7” acrylic on 1.5” gallery-wrapped canvas. UV reactive.
Lake Solitude trail was the very last hike of my Glacier/Grand Teton trip. Starting at Jenny Lake the day after the ferry closed for the season, I hiked up Cascade Canyon through the morning mist up to beautiful Lake Solitude. On the way back down from the lake I had to stop to admire this view of Teewinot Mountain, Mount Owen, and Grand Teton (from left to right). The afternoon sun lit up the bright fall foliage and I knew I would have to paint this scene. Since it was a 16-mile day, though, I saved it for the studio.
I donate a percentage of all proceeds to the National Park Conservation Association and the National Park Foundation.
Original paintings will be shipped within 10 business days. If you select local pickup during checkout I will reach out to you via email to coordinate.
